Rarely available is this highly recommended variety I obtained several years ago from Marshwood Gardens - the 'pink' part of its name is slightly misleading! A true vertical accent plant, creating a mound of slightly rounded grey-green leaves which send up strongly upright stems covered in very long flower spikes in early summer. Each spike is densely packed with whorls of tiny, white flowers flushed with pale lilac pink. (On close inspection they also have tiny lavender spots on them). The effect on its own or paired with other perennials is fabulous! Flowering size at maturity is around 60-70cm high and 50cm wide. Plants clump up nicely and can be divided every few years if needed, as it is a hardy long-lived perennial. 9cm pot
