A rather special species, rarely seen or heard of here, and ideal for smaller spaces with sandy or gravelly soils such as rock gardens etc. Forms a tufted rosette of linear leaves, the outer ones more strappy and tending to reflex towards the ground quite attractively. Short stems to around 20-30cm carrying ball-shaped heads of soft pink flowers in spring and summer. Must have at least 6 hours of sunlight and good drainage. Hardy perennial. 9cm pot.
