A very special perennial Begonia that was bred here in NZ by Darren Tillet. I've had mine in a large pot in a sheltered spot for a while now and it has proved to be a fabulous healthy plant with striking foliage and occasional spikes of flowers. Easy to please too, although the foliage can burn if exposed to too much sunlight. But after trying it in full shade and morning sun I have to say I prefer the latter, as a little heat stress brings out the most gorgeous metallic purple highlights in the foliage, which just adds to its beauty. 9cm pot.
