A gorgeous and very special extra-large-flowered species with low mounds of slightly glaucous finely divided foliage. In spring and early summer it becomes a mass of upright branched stems carrying very beautiful bright-blue flowers with white cups. Originates from the Caucasus region and appreciates reasonably well-drained soils, with a part day of shade or full sun in cooler areas. Flowering height 50-75cm. 9cm pot.
