A stunning architectural plant, which always creates a talking point in the garden...last summer the white form of this was incredible, so I'm looking forward to the pink as well this year! Forms a clump of large softly hairy, crinkly oval leaves from which rises a thick, stout stem in summer. This slowly develops into spires of lilac-pink and white bracts which glow in the garden. A hardy biennial/perennial that blooms for ages from early summer, with flowering stems to 1.5m high. Thrives in full sun with good drainage and does well in average to poor soils. 9cm pot.
