A fabulous, vigorous herbaceous and very hardy perennial that is just one of those plants which never fails to please. Winter dormant, clumps of dark green arrow-shaped leaves appear in spring followed by multiple branching flower stems of slender, tapering, spire-like white flowers. A fabulous feature plant from mid-summer into autumn, especially teamed with Asters or grasses. Likes a bit of moisture and is vigorous without being invasive. Full sun or part afternoon shade, divide in early spring. 90-120cm high at flowering. 9cm pot.
