This Aster has become an absolute favourite for its buds as much as its flowers - they remind me of rose buds! A large English Aster with excellent vigour in the garden, quickly forming good sized clumps. Tall stout stems smother themselves in large mid pink daisies in late summer, the buds opening each morning after thesun hits and closing again in the late afternoon. Absolutely loved by the bees and other pollinators. Full sun is best. Flowering stems easily reach 1.2 metres in height, flowering begins in about mid February, depending on what part of the country you are in. 9cm pot.
