Gorgeous upright but bushy plants make a real statement in the garden, with slightly purple-tinted green leaves which have a zesty anise scent and flavour, and are often used in various dishes, cooked or raw, as well as making a lovely refreshing tea. A fast growing plant that pops up in spring and quickly bushes out before sending up narrow spikes of blue-violet flowers from mid summer for several months into autumn. Easy to grow and quick to flower, plus the bees and butterflies will thank you for planting it as well. Prefers a sunny spot with good drainage. Flowering size 80-90cm high x 30-50cm wide. 9cm pot
