Seed-grown plants from this special variety that is native to Japan. I would expect a little variation but generally this one should be taller than the standard D. superbus. Clumps of narrow light green leaves and elegantly fine, upright flower stems bearing large, deliciously scented vibrant deep-pink single flowers with finely fringed edges to the petals. The stems have a graceful habit of weaving themselves through other surrounding plants and creating a lovely effect. Flowering size 50-80cm high x 30cm wide. 9cm pot, fast growing plants that will come into flower fairly quickly once in the garden.
