Bushy plants smother themselves throughout summer (or from spring through into winter here!) with velvety deep purple flowers. The colour is gorgeous and the name translated to English means night moth. Trim back spent flowerheads occasionally to encourage new ones or simply prune back by around half after the first main flush of flowering. Later in autumn leave pruning until the heavy frosts have finished and new growth begins if you live in cooler areas. Full sun and good drainage, hardy to heat and light frosts. Flowering size 60cm high and wide. 9cm pot.
