These are plants grown from seed saved in my own garden last summer, so I cannot guarantee that they haven't hybridised with any of the other Sanguisorba I grow, hence the label. If they prove to be true to type then here is the description (and if not then it will be fun to see what you get!).
A dwarf cultivar of the well-known great burnet, this is a sweet little one ideal for a front of the border position. Low clumps of delicate, finely divided foliage are topped in summer with masses of rich raspberry-red baubles on well-branched stems. Ideal for sunny spots with good soil and the occasional watering, light afternoon shade is appreciated in hot areas. Hardy perennial. Flowering size at maturity 30-40cm high x 30cm wide.
