The flashy, glossy purple sibling to the Pink Rosebud form, this is a large English Aster with excellent vigour in the garden, quickly forming good sized clumps. Tall stout stems smother themselves in med-large stunning purple daisies in late summer, the buds opening each morning after the sun hits and closing again in the late afternoon. Absolutely loved by the bees and other pollinators. Full sun is best. Flowering stems easily reach 1.2 metres in height, flowering begins in about mid February, depending on what part of the country you are in. 1 litre pot.
