A gorgeous variety forming low clumps of greyish-green ferny foliage, and throughout summer strong upright stems bear heads of flowers the colour of a good deep cherry-red, like a fine wine, with tiny white centres. Achilleas prefer full sun and good drainage, plus an average soil - too rich or shady and they will be soft and will then need staking to keep them upright. Great for using as a filler plant in the garden and the bees and butterflies love it. Also good for picking. Flowering height 60-80cm, spread 40-50cm at maturity. 1 litre pot.
