(Milky bellflower). Please note these are seedlings from the lilac-pink flowered named form 'Loddon Anna' and may or may not come true (and not the same as that in the photo, which I have included just as a reference). A long flowering hardy perennial ideal for borders, cottage gardens or mixing with grasses and large flowered daisies. Forms clumps of fresh green lance-shaped leaves and lots of upright to sprawling stems smothered in pretty lilac-pink open bell shaped flowers. Great for picking. Does okay in full sun but some light shade is preferable. Likes good soil, good drainage and a regular watering in hot weather. Mature flowering size 75-100cm high x 60cm wide. 9cm pot.
