A rather lovely clambering sort of plant, forming a bushy mass of slender stems, some prostrate, some arching and climbing through nearby plants. The flowers are beautiful dainty little bells in a lovely shade of palest blue, each one intricately marked inside. A herbaceous perennial that shoots from a tuber-like taproot and will do best in a free draining soil where winter wet isn't a problem. Comes from forest and stream edges in countries in South East Asia, so hot summers, cold winters but sharp drainage. I would recommend planting where it gets light shade from the hot afternoon sun, perhaps near more open shrubby perennials that can provide a little extra support. Size at maturity around 40-60cm tall and 30-40cm wide. 1 litre pot.
