(Russian hollyhock). Hardly ever available but I have just a few in stock this year. Clumps of foliage which resemble fig leaves and tall spikes bearing stunning large, clear lemon-yellow flowers. More of a true perennial than the usual biennial forms, lasting years in the garden. Cut back the main spike after flowering to encourage more flower stems. These are young plants this year but need planting out so they can flower next year...big root systems! Mature size 1.5-1.8m high at flowering. 9cm pot.
