Salvia barrelieri - 9cm pot
From a distance in summer this tall herbaceous perennial with its large dreamy-coloured flowers is frequently mistaken for a Delphinium. Large grey-green leaves form a mound to around 40cm. Tall, well-branched stems 1m to 1.5m high in summer, bearing relatively large sky-blue to lavender-blue flowers. Easy to grow in average garden soil and doesn't require much watering once established. Full sun. 9cm pot.
