(Cutleaf coneflower). A tall and vigorous plant, ideal for the back of a border, or wild garden where it can provide a glorious splash of colour, nectar for the insects, and nourishing seedheads for the goldfinches. Large, deeply cut, dark green leaves, and strong upright stems of bright yellow coneflowers, with drooping ray florets and yellow-green cones. Best in moisture-retentive soils, anddislikes extremely hot and dry sites. Mine flower from February right through until late autumn. 1.5-2m x 70-90cm. 1 litre pot.
