Montanoa bippinatifida - Mexican tree daisy
This is an amazing plant ideal for a warm sheltered spot as it is frost tender and dislikes strong winds. Makes a very large, upright shrub, with long woody stems 8-10 foot high, and large dissected grey-green leaves. In early winter it becomes slightly more sprawling as it produces masses of large pure-white daisies with yellow centres. An ideal nectar source for monarch butterflies on sunny winter days. In frost-free areas, the seedheads are a gorgeous lime-green and ideal for floral arrangements. Prune in late spring. 1 litre pot.
