This is a tall stately plant, ideal for the back of the border, or use in amongst shorter plants to add vertical height. Slow growing to start off, then will quickly form clumps of very large green, slightly furry leaves. Tall, thick stems bearing multiple panicles of very long-tubed trumpet shaped white flowers, which are highly scented, particularly in the evening, appear from summer to autumn. A half-hardy short-lived perennial, these young plants will need protection from any late heavy frosts, but once established they can easily live several years if mulched in the autumn. Prefers some shade from the heat of the sun - dappled or light shade is perfect. Flowering height to around 1.5m. 9cm pot
