Geranium maderense alba
The hard-to-find and really stunning white-flowered form of the Madeira Cranesbill, this biennial can take two years to come into flower. Forms a huge clump of beautiful soft, deep green, finely divided leaves. Once flowering size has been reached, a large flower head forms in the centre, carrying masses of upward-facing white flowers. A very striking plant, and very easy to establish. Happy almost anywhere – sun or part shade. Will set seed and die after flowering, but seedlings will pop up later. Fully grown size is 150cm x 150cm. 12cm pot.
