This is a lovely plant ideal for creating soft contrasts with other plants, particularly those with lime green or white flowers or foliage. Clumps of softly hairy, rounded mid-green leaves, with slightly wavy edges. Upright, branched stems carry many whorls of small deep burgundy-red flowers in mid-summer, creating an airy cloud of dark pink. Self sows a little. Full sun or part shade, not fussy.
