I love this form of velvety Mexican bush sage it for its understated beauty and elegance. It is a similar colour to the glorious Salvia 'Waverly'. Forms a large clump of grey-green narrow leaves the tips flushed with gold in spring before they turn a darker green. Upright but slightly arching spikes of palest lilac flowers and darker calyces appear in late summer into autumn. The calyces and flowers are densely covered in fine hairs, giving a soft, velvety texture. Full sun, will grow in most soils provided it has good drainage in winter, H & W at maturity 80-100cm. 1 litre pot.
