Mexican bush sage. Probably my favourite colour in this velvety sage, I love it for its understated beauty and elegance. It will form a large clump of grey-green narrow leaves which are flushed with gold in spring. Upright but slightly arching spikes of palest lilac flowers and darker calyces appear in late summer into autumn. The calyces and flowers are densely covered in fine hairs, giving a soft, velvety texture. Full sun, will grow in most soils provided it has good drainage in winter, H & W at maturity 80-100cm. 9cm pot.
