(Rusty foxglove). Takes a year or two to reach flowering size, but once it does this hardy biennial/short-lived perennial makes a real statement. Rosettes of long, smooth green leaves and tall spires of attractive rusty-brown flowers, each with a hairy white lip and dark brown veins. The flowers are packed quite tightly together up the stem. Ideal for woodland gardens, or areas with dry shade. Flowering size 90-150cm tall x 30-40cm wide.
