Eryngium pandanifolium (Giant sea holly)
Seedlings available of this stunning giant sea holly, which will eventually form a large clump of long, strappy leaves, each one edged with soft spines (not prickly) which add to its beauty. Mature clumps will send up huge flower spikes to 6 feet high in summer, bearing masses of small thistle-like flower heads. Easily grown in most soils and prefers full sun, drought tolerant once established. At maturity these plants will be around 1-1.5m across, and flowering up to 6ft high, but for now they are young plants in 9cm pots as pictured.
