Salvia confertiflora 'Meg'
A peachy-pink hybrid I grew from seed, this is a big plant that is fantastic for the back of the border, or with other shrubs. The big grey-green leaves are there virtually all year round, and then these long spikes of peach-coloured flowers appear as a bonus from midsummer right through into winter time. The flower stems, buds and calyces are covered with fine grey hairs which really adds to the beauty of this variety. Hardiness has not yet been assessed but it should be hardy to at least light frosts, if not heavier ones. Flowering size 1.8m x 1m. 1 litre pot.
