Achillea millefolium 'Terracotta'
An absolute favourite of mine, this variety forms clumps of gray-green ferny foliage which adds to the dreamy effect created by the multitude of flowerheads, which open a gorgeous shade of terracotta, and then fade to soft bronze and butterscotch yellow. Great for combining with virtually any other colour as the flower tones are soft rather than harsh, and the silvery foliage helps too. Flowering height 60-80cm, spread 40-50cm. Achilleas prefer full sun and good drainage, plus an average soil - too rich or shady and they will be soft and will then need staking to keep them upright. 9cm pot.
