Plants available of this fabulous late-season perennial. Stunning in a natural style planting, with stiffly upright stems and branched sprays of many-petalled bright magenta-purple flowers, opening from deep reddish-purple buds. I find every part of this plant attractive, from the narrow dark green leaves which rise up the stem, to the buds, flowers and the stunning fluffy brown seedheads which hold well on the plant. Doesn't seem to get affected by any weather issues, and is incredibly tough and drought-hardy once established. It doesn't clump-up rapidly either, so no danger of it getting out of hand. Completely winter-dormant. Flowering height 150-180cm (in my garden at least). 9cm pot.
