This gorgeous low bushy shrub is worth having just for the foliage alone, but the stunning tactile buds followed by whorls of golden yellow hooded flowers on dark stems is the icing on the cake! Forms a medium bushy shrub with soft grey-green leaves and whorls of beautiful yellow flowers from spring into summer, followed by attractive seedheads that remain on the plant for months. Not to be confused with the plants under this name that seem to be shown on the internet - this is the true species I originally obtained as seed from overseas. These cutting grown plants should flower later this year. Full sun with well-drained soils. Size at maturity 70-100cm depending on position. 1 litre pot.
