The lovely true form of this wonderful species which thrives in the summer heat, forming clumps of highly attractive large heart-shaped grey-green leaves which are softly hairy to touch. Strong, elegantly upright stems bear many whorls of flowers which are a unique colour - somewhere between lavender-pink and beige. A beautiful and unusual hardy perennial that will create a talking point in your garden. The seed heads last well into the autumn and winter adding structure. Flowering size when mature around 120-170cm tall x 70-90cm wide, but reasonably slow growing so allow 3 years to reach this size. Needs good drainage and full sun. 1 litre pot.
