A hybrid of Salvia darcyi and S. microphylla this beautiful plant produces dark salmon-red flowers, each one with a large lower lip. The flowers are held on long stems above the small, slightly shrubby plant. Striking when in flower. I find this plant is best grown in a mixed border where it can pop it's stems up through other plants. Full sun, drought-tolerant perennial. Flowering stems to 90cm, shrubby base 30-40cm. 1 litre pot.
