One of my own selection, this stood out right from the start. Gorgeous palest lemon flowers, the lower lip quite flared and slightly wavy giving an almost frilly effect. Each flower is topped with a wee hood that appears to have been brushed with spun sugar, hence the name. Plants form bushy, rounded shrubs which need to be pruned by at least half after flowering to maintain shape (prune in spring in very cold areas). Prefers at least half a day of sun and handles full sun with ease. 60-80cm high and wide at maturity. 1 litre pot.
