Rarely grown or offered, and believed to be one of the Meadow sages, with the synonym Salvia pratensis var. caucasica, this beauty has come from the Marshwood Gardens collection. I don't have a lot of information available about it, other than it has beautiful large violet-blue flowers. So far the leaves resemble a meadow sage except they are perhaps rounder in shape. So something exciting to look forward to, and of course to share with you! These will most likely grow to around 60-80cm high at flowering, and can handle full sun or light shade such as woodland conditions. 9cm pot.
