This became a firm favourite in my Monarda trials last summer, as it flowered over a very long period, had all the colour, structure and drama I could ask for, virtually no mildew issues, and the pollinators absolutely loved it. Clumps of fragrant dark green foliage, with deep bronze-purple highlights especially on the newer growth, and hot pink-purple flowers that appear above the dark bracts, giving a wonderful colour contrast. Full sun to part shade, divide clumps in spring. Flowering size 70-100cm high x 40-50cm wide. 9cm pot.
