This has proved itself to be one of the most resilient and long-flowering perennial Violas I've ever grown, with a seemingly endless supply of large purple flowers above evergreen clumps of tidy deep green foliage. The flowers are held on short sturdy stems above the foliage and are pale in the centre with darker streaks to add contrast. Happy in pots or the garden, and tolerant of both heat and cold, often flowers from early spring right through until the following winter. Will self-sow a little too but in a very welcome way rather than weedy, if that makes sense. Flowering height 15-20cm. 9cm pot.
