Euphorbia lambii - 9cm pot
Rarely available and only a few plants this year, these are younger seedlings of the tree spurge, which is well known for its stunning architectural form when mature. Young plants have narrow dark green leaves with an almost charcoal tint to them, but as they mature these will become more typical glaucous grey-green in colour. Will form a fantastic bare trunk topped with circular clusters of glaucous foliage and lime green flowers in spring. Native to the Canary Islands, this beauty will withstand a summer drought very easily once established and does best in full sun and poor soils with great drainage. Resents root disturbance so best planted carefully in final position when young. Hardy to medium frost when mature but some protection when young is advised. Average mature size one to two metres tall. 9cm pot.
