White wood Aster is a hardy herbaceous perennial of which I have two distinct forms. This one has apple-green, heart-shaped triangular leaves and green stems, which combined with the white flowers make it especially useful for lighting up shadier areas. It just glows! A mounding, bushy, woodland plant which produces cloud-like panicles of starry white, lightly fragrant flowers in mid-late summer. Ideal for sun, shade or part shade and will adapt to most soils, including dry areas. This one has a slightly more clumping form. Mature size at flowering 40-70cm high and 40cm wide. 9cm pot.
