(Foxglove). A fabulous new introduction which appears to have great hybrid vigour and longevity, so despite these being first year plants they are growing very strongly and should behave like short-lived perennials. Slightly shorter in height than some of the traditional forms, this one has clumps of dark green leaves and branching spikes of gorgeous flowers in shades of antique rose-pink. I sowed these when I received them in mid-winter so there may be some flowers produced mid-summer, or they may decide to bulk up and overwinter for flowering the following spring. Either way I'm excited to have these as they sound fabulous! Full sun or part shade. Around 75-100cm tall at flowering. 9cm pot.
