(Slender beardtongue). I've been very impressed with the repeat flowering nature of this beautiful species. Narrow shiny green leaves form a lovely clump and slender stems rise up carrying wonderful displays of soft lilac flowers in whorls up the stem. This one should be fairly easy to place in a normal garden setting as it is closely related to P. digitalis, which is also easy to please, but generally half the size. Full sun to light shade. Flowering height to around 30-50cm, width 20-30cm. 1 litre pot.
