A new introduction grown and selected right here at Seaflowers. Named for its large flowers which are an intense colour, with firm petals arranged in such a way that they remind me of a very busy butterfly flitting about the place. Large flowers in shades of hot orange, darker when first open, with petals held horizontally and a central cone with similar colouring. Definitely beautiful and worth having in the garden, this one has proven itself to be a winner here! Heleniums love a good soil and will cope quite well with clay soils providing there is compost or grit added to enhance the soil structure. Flowering height 100-120cm, prefers a sunny spot. 9cm pot.
