One of my absolute favourite herbs for using in the kitchen, this one has a gorgeous lemon scent! Forms a dwarf shrubby perennial with a woody base topped with bushy branches of narrow green leaves which are highly aromatic and add delicious flavours to all sorts of dishes. Later in summer the plants bear stems of small pale pink and white flowers which are loved by bees and other pollinators. Slow growing and semi-dormant over winter but shoots away with fresh growth in spring. Height and spread 20-30cm, loves full sun and good drainage, makes a great plant for dry gardens and is ideal for pots too. 9cm pot. (Photo courtesy of Jelitto thank you).
