Salvia mexicana var. minor
A rounded, shrubby perennial with attractive softly furry, grey-green leaves. Produces many short spikes of deep blue flowers, with contrasting dark calyces, creating a cloud of blue when in full bloom. Flowering begins in summer and can continue right through into winter. Loved by bees. Best pruned to shape in spring once the weather warms up. Full sun to part shade. 1.5m H x 1.2-1.5m W. 1 litre pot.
