A stately hardy perennial for the border, forming a dense clump, and ideal for soils that tend to stay dampish or don’t drain quite as well as others, although I find mine copes perfectly in free-draining soils too. Slightly waxy, grey-green elongated leaves give rise to elegant tapering stems of white flowers, each with a few pale pink stamens. 90cm x 60cm. 9cm pot.
