A very old Cherokee Indian heirloom that has become a firm favourite in our family. Large, thin-skinned fruit of an unusual colour – almost a dusky violet with a hint of brown. The flesh is a deep, dark red colour with hints of deep green, with a texture that is similar to a beefsteak. Intense flavour – sweet and smoky with a hint of tartness as well. 9cm pot.
