Like an Ageratum on steroids this beauty brightens up the area under my Magnolia tree every year. Stunning big soft dark green and purple leaves, and in spring thick burgundy flower stems bear big heads of sweetly scented fuzzy lilac flowers which are a magnet for bees and butterflies. Does best in light shade with soil that has leaf mould added, and is frost tender. 1.5-2m H x 1.5m W. 1 litre pot.
