(repehinapapa; dwarf rock lily; miniature rengarenga). This is the rarely-offered purple-leaved form of our wee native rock lily, which at first glance looks rather like a small mottled purple mondo grass. Forms attractive clumps of faintly spotted deep plum-purple leaves and airy heads of small white flowers in spring. Makes a good small ground cover in shaded areas, will self-sow if happy. Winter dormant. 20cm x 30cm. 1 litre pot.
