A fairly large shrubby perennial with long, narrow mid-green foliage, slightly rough to the touch, and fragrant as well. Terminal spikes of lavender blue flowers begin appearing in summer, and flowering continues through to autumn. Flowers are also borne on side branches throughout the season. Prefers full sun to part shade and is drought tolerant, although the best flowering will happen with a little regular water over dry periods. Frost hardy. 1.5m x 1.3m. Trim back after flowering by 1/3 to keep bushy. 1 litre pot.
