Long-lived hardy American wildflower perennials such as this seem to be making a comeback nowadays. Will slowly form a clump with upright stems clothed in narrow green leaves topped from mid summer into autumn with clusters of vanilla scented white flowers. A wonderful plant for the monarch butterflies and the seedpods are also very attractive. Full sun, average to heavy soils, can cope well with moisture, hardy winter-dormant perennial which will reshoot in spring. Eventually grows to 100-120cm H x 40-50cm W. 9cm pot. (Winter dormant, these are beginning to lose their leaves now - perfect time to plant).
