(pink indigo; Chinese indigo). An erect deciduous shrub, hardy to most frosts and does not sucker. Bushy green leaves, each composed of several smaller leaflets, and from mid-summer to autumn upright racemes of pink pea-like flowers appear all along the stems. Even the seed pods are attractive – being long and purple. Full sun to part shade, good drainage, and mulch to retain moisture. Up to 2m H x 1.5m W. 1 litre pot.
