Gorgeous deep glowing-red flowers and dark calyces over glossy green leaves, flowering for months on end in summer, the flowers fading to a more pinky-red in sunshine as they age, which adds a nice contrast. As it is a blue-red spectrum rather than an orange-red it makes it easier to place in the garden as it goes nicely with many other colours. Plants form bushy, rounded small shrubs which need to be pruned by at least half after flowering to maintain shape. Prefers at least half a day of sun and handles full sun with ease, although the flowers can sometimes be a bit bleached in very hot afternoon summer sun. 60-70cm H x 50-60cm W. 9cm pot.
